  • Walter Benzie

    Walter Benzie

    Walter spent the early part of his professional career with KPMG and Ernst and Young both in London and Cape Town. He then worked as a business consultant before becoming a founder member of Collards in 1990.

    Walter’s interests include photography (he is currently treasurer of the Royal Photographic Society) and he is a regular dinghy sailor.

  • Julian Brigstocke

    Julian Brigstocke

    Julian entered the profession in 1985 and worked for the London Practice mainly on large audits up to qualification. He now acts for many different types of businesses both large and small and has built up a significant private client portfolio.

    Julian’s interests include sport (he is Treasurer of Esher Rugby Club), restaurants, economics and looking after his young family.

  • David Eagles

    David Eagles

    David started his career with HM Revenue and Customs before moving in to private practice twenty years ago. Whilst originally concentrating on personal tax work he has built up a portfolio of varied clients, business and personal which includes audit and corporate tax advice.

    David’s interests include music, sport, motor cars and theatre.

  • Robert Lomas

    Robert Lomas

    Robert was a partner in the London practice before the merger in 2000. He has been in practice since 1979. Originally concentrating on larger clients and audits, he has recently built up a portfolio of small and medium sized businesses and personal clients to whom he provides all services including detailed business advice.

    Robert’s interests include sport and travel (particularly to sporting occasions).

  • Jonathan Addison

    Jonathan Addison

    Jonathan has worked in practice since 1991 and began his career with mid tier firm Morgan Brown & Spofforth (one of the founding firms behind Vantis plc). During his formative years in practice Jonathan gained invaluable experience in client facing roles and specialised in auditing and the charity sector. Jonathan joined Collards in 2002 and since becoming a partner in 2006 has enjoyed an incredibly diverse client portfolio.

    Jonathan’s interests include gardening (or attempts at), reading, travel and music.
